"The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) is organising a one-day workshop event under the WTO Chairs Programme (WCP) in collaboration with the Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on “Trade Remedies and MSMEs: Building Capacity for Fair Trade” India is one of the largest users of trade remedy measures, and MSMEs play a vital role in employment generation, economic development and inclusivity, driving innovation, supporting the local supply chain, etc. In this context, the program aims to sensitise MSMEs about various trade remedy measures, applicable procedures, data thresholds, and other necessary information required to file an application, as well as build their capacity to effectively pursue these remedies when adversely affected by imports. The workshop is scheduled on 15th July 2025 from 10:30 AM to 05:00 PM at Gulmohar Hall, India Habitat Centre."
