Ms. Manya Gupta is a Senior Research Fellow at CTIL. Ms. Gupta has completed her graduation in law from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur in 2018. She has worked in the area of trade remedies at TPM Solicitors and Consultants, New Delhi as a legal associate. She also worked on domestic investigations and investigations being conducted outside India for imposition of anti-dumping or countervailing duties. She participated in 5th WTI-CWS Joint Academy for International Trade and Policy, 2018 and successfully finished it.
In her capacity as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre, Ms. Gupta has extensively worked in the area of recommending WTO compatible methods of implementing and drafting Product Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes and other subsidies. She extensively worked on taxation issues in the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. She has advised the team for negotiating Chapters on Government Procurement, Competition Policy, Subsidies and State-owned Enterprises for India’s FTA with UAE, US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia and Oman. She has the experience of advising on important legislative changes in the SEZ regime in India.
