Sujaya is an Associate at the Centre for Trade and Investment Law. Prior to joining
the Centre, Sujaya worked as a disputes lawyer, gaining experience in investment
treaty arbitration, international commercial arbitration, and corporate and commercial
litigation before various courts and tribunals in India.
Sujaya holds an LL.M (Investment Treaty Arbitration) from Uppsala University (Class
of 2020) and a B.A.-LL.B (Hons.) from Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar
(Class of 2015). She is also empaneled as a Tribunal Secretary at the Mumbai
Centre for International Arbitration (MCIA) and serves on the editorial board of the
Indian Review of International Arbitration (Maharashtra National Law University).
