Tanvi Praveen is an international trade lawyer. She is currently an Associate at the Centre for
Trade and Investment Law (CTIL). Prior to joining CTIL, Tanvi was co-head of the international
trade law practice at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India. She has extensive experience in
representing exporters and importers in various trade remedial investigations. She has also
represented the Government of India in a WTO dispute and various trade defence investigations
initiated by the US, the EU, Canada and Pakistan, and has contributed towards trade policy
initiatives. She has also worked with the Honorable Charles N. Brower on investor-State arbitration
disputes involving European investors making infrastructure investments in Middle-Eastern host
states. Tanvi holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from The George Washington University Law
School and a Bachelor of Laws (B.B.A. LL.B.) degree from Symbiosis International University.
