The GNLU Centre For Law & Economics (GCLE) and the Centre for Empirical & Applied Research in Law & Interdisciplinary Studies (CEARLIS), in collaboration with the Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India,organised the 8th Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar International Conference on Law and Economic Analysis of Ethics, Inclusiveness & Sustainability on 28th February – 2nd March 2025. The conference featured expert plenary talks, panel discussions, and technical sessions on key themes, including:· Investor-Led Sustainability in Capital Markets, Best Practices for Establishing an Intellectual Hub for Law and Economics in India, The Impact of Emerging Technologies on International Trade and Evolving Trade Policy on Sustainability: The Missing Dimension of Equity. The Hon’ble Attorney General Shri R. Venkataramani was the Chief Guest for the Event. The Event also featured plenary talks by Prof. (Dr.) Wolf-Georg Ringe, Professor of Law & Finance at University of Hamburg and Prof. (Dr.) James J. Nedumpara, Head, CTIL.
